The management of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has released the list of candidates offered provisional admission into the University various undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Admission lists are the names of successfully admitted applicants offered provisional admission into an institution.

Admission lists are usually released by institutions after the conduct of admission screening exercise, it comes in different batches; 1st Batch is (Merit List) followed by 2nd, 3rd and other Batches.

All the candidates who participated in the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) 2025/2026 admission screening exercise can now check their admission status through the steps outlined below.

The university was formerly known as the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS). On October 1, 1991 the Federal Government of Nigeria established it as a federal university and the name was changed to the University of Uyo.

Steps to Check UNIUYO Admission List

Currently, UDUSOK prospective students can only access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:

1. Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.

2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.

3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.

4. Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.

5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your UNIUYO admission status.

Candidates successfully admitted into the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) first-degree programmes are advised to:

• Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
• Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
• Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
• Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.

Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.

1. Visit https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals/
2. Select Admission Status Link
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click on Check Status Button.
4. You will get a response showing whether you’ve been admitted or not.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

This offer will be valid if, on the verification of your credentials at the time of registration, it is confirmed that your qualification satisfies the University minimum admission requirements.

Before registration, you will be required to undergo a medical examination conducted by the Helth Centre, University of Uyo.
