About Mountain Top University

The proprietor of Mountain Top University is the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), a Christian missionary organization founded by Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya.

The vision for the establishment of the Ministry was received in August but it was not until July 1989 that the Ministry commenced.

The commission started with 24 members and as of today, the church has millions of worshippers worldwide. MFM runs missionary activities in over 40 nations of the world cutting across Africa, Europe, America, and Asia.

As a Christian missionary organization, the MFM is a full gospel ministry devoted to the revival of apostolic signs. The core vision of MFM is the total liberty of men and women from all forms of oppression and bondage through the teaching of biblical principles and aggressive prayer strategies for a victorious living.

Mountain Top University’s Mission

The mission of Mountain Top University is the provision of excellent facilities for the training of men and women in various academic, professional and vocational disciplines in an atmosphere that will enhance the simultaneous development of their spiritual, mental, and physical faculties.

In order to produce morally upright and academically sound graduates with specialized skills and value systems, who will be independent, invariably self-employable, and who will be able to impact positively on the development (be it in leadership, academic, public, and the industrial sectors) of their communities, the Nigerian society and the global community at large.

Courses and Requirements

You might be wondering what kind of courses are offered at Mountain Top University, probably because the name of the institution doesn’t ring a bell.

It is expected, but you are free to get your hopes up because Mountain University offers outstanding undergraduate programs, with basic requirements.

Requirements

1. Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO, or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
2. Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) with passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered. No subject may be counted at both TC II and GCE O/Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO, or approved equivalents.
3. The candidate must make at least a 180 and above pass mark in JAMB to qualify for internal screening by the Mountain Top University.
